Jonas and All. When riders take time to Read the stories like these , They come away with a little More knowledge about their bikes and Themselves.

How do you say a Bad and Good story at the same time...A bad story with good results? I only hope stories like OURS here Help some one when they read it... To late IS TOO late.

Thank you all for your useful tips and warnings! Your comments, stories and arguments will be thoroughly studied and I am sure I will be a better driver in the future! Where I live, we have a lot of stray dogs and traffic discipline has not yet been invented (!) so I am sure that I will have a lot of braking experience shortly! My previous bike was a Shadow with single front disc brake, which was completely worthless when raining. The double disc on my Electra seems to work fine even in a monsune rain which is a comfort. The weight difference between these two bikes is obvious and my driving style has changed accordingly.
