upper engine noise

I had the same noise recently in mine, it turned out to be a broken rocker support. It sounded like a set of keys rattling around in my front rocker box.

I remember this one and I think 2006FXDI has What Might be your problem.....

Ok, let's try this..... have you replaced tho's early Evo lifters? To the "B" grade. If not you'll need them soon. Do to a bad tick at 23K did the trick for me. I still have the key jinngle but only at start up cold......(sigh) I live with it.
