Happened once before, bike went into limp mode. Shut it off for a couple minutes then it ran for months. Recently I pulled up to a stop sign then hit the throttle to go and it went into limp mode. Had it towed home and ran the codes and got a U1040 that from research is related to the ABS. I pulled the ABS fuse and tried to start, nope. Looking all over the bike everything looks fine. Saw a youtube about a wire that tends to break up by the top of the front forks but wire looks to be good. I could tear that front harness apart and look a little deeper but wanted to check here to see who's had this issue. I need new rotors bad because the place that did my brakes (EDIT) them up but I can't see that as being a limp mode issue but who knows, it's a Harley.
