type of hose clamp for fuel line in gas tank efi

Glider saw your post on replacing fuel line in efi gas tank can I use a good quality screw type hose clamp or do I have to use HD factory replacements? I changed the fuel filter but didn't change the hose should have (came with the fuel filter) now I have a leak but no factory hose clamps pls advise tx

A quality hose clamp will work fine but if you feel better using the HD clamps, then get a couple before you go back in for the leak. Just don't use the cheapies, too much work if one breaks.

cool found the main line from petcock to inlet at fuel filter had pin holes thanks for info you provide it was drivin' me crazy why bike would die when half a tank or less of gas saved me big bucks from takin' to HD dealer see ya
