i have no accidents, no bad conduct, and since i got my drivers license at age 17 have never had a dmv eye exam..my license states i need corrective lenses which i was wearing at age 17 when i took the test. 49 years and it doesnt occur to them to retest someone wearing glasses..

You should be good to go, DMV can not discriminate due to age. I'm surprised you never had to take a eye test, I thought that was mandatory. I've held 2 DL's in 2 different states and had my vision checked at both.
