1999 still used evo front brakes 1st yr. T.C. 88

2000 was when the sealed bearings were introduced, Cam bearing went to roller in mid 2000 production run..FLHT/C/U electronic speedo. first year for the 4 piston brake calipers.

1999~01 MM injection, used the cam position gear, Tape deck radio FLTR 1st.yr. electronic speedo. jiffy stand rubber bumper moved from frame to tab on stand (actually a very few late 2000s had it too). Also first year for optional security system and the turn signals now cancelled after banking thru a turn

2002 Delphi injection and 1 inch rear axle, swingarm update, plus last year for Timken bearing and first year to switch over to crank position sensor to determine timing,( no more cam pos.gear) First year for cartridge forks. Tape deck.

2003 left side roller for timken, CD radio, no more cass.

2004 first year for closed loop capable ECM wiring harness, but 2005 was first year for closed loop capable ECM. Wider MU85 rear tire introduced, 1 1/8 belt from 1 1/2 to compensate the new 143mm rear tire.

2005 Vented lower fairings, non-fluted (reflector-focus) headlight, last year for cartridge forks,Beehive valve springs,7mm valves replace 5/16in., new style valve seal, then revised mid year (to prevent pumping oil) first year for DOT 4 brake fluid

2006 Harman Kardon Radio, Streetglide added, throttle body change, last carbs, Tour pack moved farther back, tourpak was mildly redesigned. Now GTX nylon (black mat'l) as saddlebags had been since 2004(?). And as stated, now adjustable again with 2 positions. (adjustability went away in 1997). LED lighting used for TP sidelights. Sidelights deleted on Classic model. First year for current ignition switch and knob, passenger grab rail deleted, added grab strap. Also all 06s got a catalyst in the right muffler. swingarm change, "A" injector upgrade (mid-year), lower-effort clutch, back to conventional forks. Dyna’s only had 6 speed

2007 crank change for more stroke making 96 motor. 6 speed transmission, "Native-metal" outer cam bearings, larger (1") inner cam bearings, improved cam tensioners and chains, 1st yr. narrow band closed loop efi, No Carbs avail., new material for saddlebags and Tour-Pak.

2008 Brembo brakes, six gallon tank, Fly by wire, IDS system was added to the 66t rear pulley, plus the 1" wheel axle was replaced with 25mm axles, ABS optional, IDS standard, carbon-fiber belt, new intercom interface console on tank top, new and relocated ECM, new engine mount and relocated front stabilizer link, EITMS (mid-year option)

2009 Frame change and wheel change, 2-1-2 exhaust system added and 66t rear pulley was replaced with a 68t, exhaust system change, oil pan change, Note: Brembos were introduced on '08 FLH models. IDS hub integrated with rear wheel, new saddlebag and TP mounts, added engine mounts (four total), EITMS standard and user-enabled, grease fitting on steering head now more accessible. first year for shorter, fiberglass antennae

2010 The AFR EFI system was replaced with a lambda based format, and the o2 sensors were switched from 18mm to 12mm and moved further down the head pipe. A 2 into 1 head pipe was stock on some models, used a 1 3/4" tail pipe though

2011 SE compensator made standard. 103 optional on touring. Road Glide Ultra added. The 2 into 1 head pipe was dropped, and all models came stock with a 2-1-2 system.
