torque setting Roadking 2002

Can anyone say what the torque setting is for the primary cover bolts should be. The sevice manual says 80-120lb but that seems too high and I dont want to strip the threads. Cheers

If that's what the manual says, then use that setting. Make sure you are using INCH Lbs and not FT lbs.

multiply foot pounds X 12 = inch pounds or divide inch pounds by 12 = foot pounds.

Thats what I thought. I looked at my manuel lastnight getting ready to finish my clutch job and the numbers stuck in my head.
