Tires

I run stock tires on my 14 fatbob D427 180 70 16 . I found it to be very well made . Blew the back tire at 120 km sound like a shot gun bike stayed stable. Pulled over fine. That was on my 09 fatbob. Sold it bought a 14 fat bob picked up a nail it came out at high speed tire lost pressure slow bike felt soft pulled over no problems. Those tires are hard to get in my area the local bike shops cant get them . I was told to change to Michelin Scorchers. Any opinions on those tires,or something similar. I ride hard enjoy all aspects of highway and secondary roads twists and straight away.

Dunlop American Elite's are replacements for the Dunlops that HD puts on their bikes. And, they are American made.

I put the original Dunlop tires on mine, been fine for my 05 electra glide.

I also am running the elites on my bike, I am not what one would call a hard rider but I have had no issues.
