I just purchased a new rear tire and the date code is 2508, meaning that the tire was manufactured in the 25th week (June) of 2008. Before I have it installed, is this within an acceptable range or should I insist on a newer one? I've heard up to one year is okay, but this cuts it pretty close. It is a Dunlop purchased from my local HD dealer.
