Tail Lights

Coming home from the mountains last night and enjoying the ride until I cruzed through town and a good cager informed me I had no tail lights. I changed a burned out fuse this morning but still no tail lights. Any suggestions?:(

Burnt out fuse normally indicates a shorted wire to ground. Look for frayed wires in the wire harness that may contact the frame...

+! for a short to ground. Since you replaced the fuse, check at the socket and see if you have voltage there. Oh, and make sure the bulb is good.
If you have no voltage, start back along the harness and find where the wire is broken, rubbed, or could be contacting metal.

does your bike have the light in the front fender....if it does check the wires going to that too. I think it's on the same fuse.

Generally the brake/tail light wiring problems stem from the harness under the rear fender coming loose and grounding out. Start under the seat where it goes through the fender hole and check from there.
