Synthetic Oils

I have been using Mobil 1 V-Twin in all 3 holes on my '09 Ultra for the past 5 years now. Motor still runs great, never have to add oil between oil changes.

Your ride you decide but motor oil was not designed for the primary and transmission.

According to what you guys say, I think using Synthetic oils is worthy of consideration.

Just changed oils in bike. Used Amsoil 20-50 syn in engine and severe 75-140 in trans, Formula Plus in primary. Engine is much quieter than when using Mobil 1 in engine. No change in trans operation from using Spectro.

I too, use Amsoil in my bike ('08 SG). 60W in crank, 60W in primary and 250W in Trans. I've been doing this for over 5yrs now and the engine runs cooler and shifting is extremely smooth ~

I switched to Quicksilver 20-50 @ 500 miles, I aint never used Synthetic before but I am a believer now, That said I will still use HD filter and change @ 3k miles, Redline in my tranny and formula plus in the primary PLUS my own head breather that is my own and better design
