I purchased a 2009 black Nightster yesterday. I am looking for black pipes that still have the staggered look of the stock pipes. I'm considering Supertrapp's Mean Mothers and Screaming Eagle slip-ons.

I don't know much about the difference between a full system and slip-ons. Can you guys shed some light on the difference and also let me know which pipes you think would be a better fit?

    Thank you,

Agree w/Hobbit...if you like the staggered look it's best to go w/SE pipes & keep your headers. Less headache, no need to re-tune bike & SE exhaust are good quality. Had a set of SE slips on my 05 XL1200C & they were nice. Only swapped w/V&H short shots b/c I found a deal that was "too good to be true" (got them for $175-new). I think you'll be extremely satisfied w/the SE pipes. Cheers!
