Still cruising in @ 23-35 degrees every morning. It doesn't get any less painful but it is still better than driving the truck! The rides home are WAY better and when I'm in my truck my weekly commute to work is $70 in gas while on my bike it is more like $17. That's worth the pain. When I can't safely react to the deer and javelina that love to cross the highway right before dawn while I'm on my way to work I'll have to bite the bullet and take the truck... in the meantime, just call me Mr. Blue Fingers.
@jamesearl Yep, I'm up in N. Central AZ. (West Sedona) and I ride to up near the Mingus Mountains on my way to work. When I leave home it can be 23 or so but by the tie I'm out of the canyon it tends to warm up to 35. Gets colder when I am near the river (Verde River). I can't deal with the 120 degree summers or the congestion down south.
@gator508 We just moved out here about 3 years ago from the St. Pete Beach area... Love the weather there but I hate the traffic and there were so many cops in FLA that I just got sick of being pulled over (profiled) at least once a month. Here I can go for rides where I only see a car or two every 10-15 minutes. That makes these cold months bearable. We are, however, moving back to Dixie. It won't be back to FLA but we are going to Eastern Tennessee once the bank accounts allow.
