Springer Classic Advice Please

I just traded off my 05 Springer classic after 20K miles
The bike rode great up I wasn't happy about the handling part
The front end wasn't good in the curves and the front end wobble around
40 mph or after a hit a pot hole. I really miss the looks of the bike but don't miss the handling of it. Trade it off on 09 street glide,
now that bike handles great

Well, I appreciate all of the advice provided here. A scoot is going to follow me home tomorrow, but it's not the springer. Decided on a Candy Red Deluxe . . . it was one of those things, it 'spoke' to me (I hate it when those voices start up!?!).
