nakkers Junior Member May 19, 2015 #2 I believe the 09 XL has the 3.3 gallon tank. So, you will have a gap in between the seat to the tank. The 1200t has the 4.5 gallon tank.

nakkers Junior Member May 20, 2015 #4 The 1200T turn signals are located at the fork, where as the 883 L are located higher on the handlebar. Does this affect how the windshield mounts from the 1200T to the 883 L.? I don't think so. Should work just fine.
