I hate to admit this, but the issue turned out to be an upside down needle seat (placed above the emulsion tube). When this part is installed correctly, it is actually a little tricky to get into place. Ironically, it goes in incorrectly quite easily and seems to be the correct fit. To any future readers, the larger diameter end goes UP (into the throat).

Thanks for the ideas! Bike is now running great with the Dynojet kit fully installed (although we could use a little heat around here!!!).

You should have posted some pics. of it in wrong for people who do it yourself. At least it is fixed and was not anything major.

Good deal JDP...and don't feel bad, all of us who are old enough to "know better" have learned trial and error is best left for the young...having done the very thing before...
