Sportsters are prone to a corrosion problem in the fuse block which will cause problems in the electrical systems on the bike.
The remedy is to clean out all corrosion and apply some dielectric grease (available in most auto stores) to the contacts as well as the fuse ends to eliminate the problem. Also use care when washing the bike in the fuse block area not to use excessive water and blow it dry after washing to minimize the possibility of this problem .
