solid wheels

Does anybody know if the wheels of a 2001 fat boy are compatible with a 94 road king? My road king has a solid rear wheel and spokes in the front and I found a guy who is selling solid front and rear off a fat boy and would like to get them if they would fit.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Like Hobbit said....they could be made to fit...if there's a will there's a way. Your Evo has a 3/4" axle and tapered bearings and the 01 FB has a 1"axle and sealed bearings. I would try to find an Evo Fat Boy wheel and use your spacers from the RK wheel. You also could get TC fork sliders and axle then measure for proper spacing, but IMO the easiest way is find an Evo wheel.

I've been thinking of a simular swap. I want to put Fatboy wheels on my '97 Heritage. I know that the Fatboy wheels from 2000 and up require a larger hole in the rotors and pully in order for the stock ones to fit back on. If your's is like my Heritage you will require Fatboy wheels from 1990 to 1999. Aslo like mentiond above some of the axle sizes did change.
