Softail Tank Fitment

I have a 2006 FI Fatboy. On the left side bottom of the tank where the fuel valve is there is a single threaded exit hole.
I bought a Tank and tin set on Ebay for the softail models 2000 thru 2006.
However when I got the tank it had 2 holes on the left side botton. Both holes are the same size and thred.
The tops of both tanks look to be the same where the Fuel Pump would mount.
Question: Can this tank be used on my Fatboy and what do I do about the second hole?

You could plug the second hole with a pipe plug with thread sealer JMO
