Once again, HDT comes thru. The left hand tank on this 97 Fatboy has a clockwise-to-loosen gas cap. Extra confidence and hence MORE TORQUE and off it came. Gonna be nice to put 4 gallons in at a time now! LOL Thanks again
If it has been stuck on for a while it may be worthwhile checking the rubber seal on the gas cap to ensure it is still ok and not got damaged or the gas may slosh out when full
Posted last night but didn't show on the forum for whatever reason. Extra torque applied to the left tank cap brought it off. Threads clean as if brand new, makes me wonder if original owner ever had it off. Again, regards and thanks for the help.
