I have the same yellow FXR4 someone butchered my stock side covers. Would you consider selling the yellow ones you took off? Thanks Doug

My 2000 FXR4. I have removed the yellow side covers and replaced them with aftermarket chrome ones. Always thought the originals were a bit much. (but I still have 'em)

Hi I have the same yellow FXR4 you have. Someone butched my yellow stock side covers. Would you like to sell the yellow stock ones you took off.
Thanks Doug

My 1984 FXRS.
My Father in Law bought this new. My wife and I just took it over a few years ago after he decided that after sitting for 11 years he wasn't going to ride her any more. She is all original except for the seat and backrest which I swapped out for something a bit more streamlined.

:s Nice, one of THE best bikes ever built:D

Great looking FXR SnoDrtRider. The frame on the FXR was just another one of the great things that Erik Buell did for HD. Great bike.

My ultimate goal is to bring this bike back to the machine EB envisioned but HD marketing changed.
I have already replaced the 12" rear shocks with 13.5 as the earlier FXRs came with and I'm in the process of sourcing longer fork tubes and sliders, calipers, etc. to add the 2" of height and the braking power of the earlier bikes to the front end. This will probably happen over next winter.

BTW Something I sometimes ponder... the initals EB = Erik Buell + Ettore Bugatti... coincidence or fate?

The blue version is last year, the black version is this year. 1982 FXRS

Just picked it up last night. 88 FXRS LR 22K mi. Has a salvage title but it's as nice as the pics. So I'm OK with it for what I'm into it for.
