shovelhead/four plugs

hey,so i can putt in 60 sinthetic?
my old shovel will run quieter and cooler?
id like to know diferent opinions of this
solid lifters or hydrolic?
how can i tell the diference?
is one better than the other?

oh and im almost done the wiring
everything is hooked up
just got the inside the dash and my
ignition switch left,its been a week and a half now,im doing this on
my lunch hour at work,man i cant wait to
ride her again ill take pics next week
and try loading them up
not much luck loading pics up
so far,havent figured it out
how to do it yet:cheers

My thoughts on the above.
60w synthetic is good in warm/hot weather. May quiet it down a little. Cooler ?? not really a problem with a shovel.
I prefer hydraulic lifters because they don't require as much attention, and are quieter.
 
The only advantage I see to solid lifters is less valve float at high RPMS, you will be adjusting them more and they will be noisey

Looks like quite the project, start at the battery and work thru each system, patience will pay off:s

i got everything wired up,now i have to conect it all to the ignition switch
it fired up today no problem
