Shipping a bike?

Hello everybody , I'm in the process of buying a standard glide in naples florida. I want to ship it to connecticut.Any body have words of wisdom?

I've used Forward Air Trucking in the past but I need to move a trail bike from Ogden, Utah so I looked up their rates and they have just about tripled their rates since I used them last about two years ago. They furnish a crate and it is insured but you pay for it. Flywheelman

Thanks flywheelman . I'll check them out. So far I have gotten quotes around 750.00 I realise deisel is free ,but they must move more than one bike at a time.

For $750 I'll fly to FL and ride your bike back to Connecticut and pay my own gas!!!
