Shifter oil leak

just had oil changed in all three holes in 2000 deuce. Now has oil leak around shifter. is there any additive to use to swell up seal? Have shop manual but it is not very informative on how to replace seal. Any suggestions appreciated. THANX for any help

With oil change just having been done, I would suggest the tranny may have been overfilled. The excess could be misting out of the tranny vent tube which is right above the area of the shifter. Would check that first thing.

Ditto that check the level if over full it will vent out the rubber hose on top of tranny viewed from the left side of bike
