i have a 2006 flhtcui just wondering if any one knows if the shift pawl can be adjusted or centered like the older bikes/? this bike does not have the lock nut over adjust screw it has a torks head screw where it should be.if i put it in third gear it is way off center and it has always shifted hard from the time i got it.can not get in neutral when running either

The lever was prone to strip out on the shaft making it difficult to get it tight.
Reach down and see how much movement you have side to side, if it's loose you may have to replace it. There are some pretty good aftermarket levers that work very well.
the shift arm doesn't have any slop in it but the shift arm doesn't seem to be centered.
thank you for the input. I guess I will have to pull the cover and have a look see inside. Again thanks

I think what I posted shows the steps to take. Good luck.
