I would agree on the center stand not having anything to do with your problem. I have a center stand on my bike and there are no issues with the alarm when the bike is on the center stand.

If you disable the pendulum, you will no longer have auto cancel turn signals based on lean angle.

I keep my bike on a MC jack all winter, no problem. I don't think it's the center stand.
