Breeze3at Experienced Member Mar 9, 2014 #2 Look at the end of the screw. If it has a "chip" out of the end, it's self tapping. It's been a while since I've had one apart, and don't remember.

T Tazkota New Member Mar 9, 2014 #3 The screws were not notched, so I broke out the ole tap and die set and tapped the holes. Works great!
