Saddle Bag Latch

Latch on Saddle Bags want stay latched when riding.I keep them locked so they want fly up. Anyone know if there is adjustment for this problem?

Do you have the cable latch on those bags like the FLHRS ?

 

There are no cables just hinges on bags.

You should be able to manipulate the latch so it closes and holds a bit better.

 

I've got the heritage bags and they have a plastic clip behind the leather straps. If the clips don't engage the buckle end just right, they will fly up when going down the road.

I'm told there is some sort of lock that fits these clips. Anyone know anything about that?

 

I have seen a retrofit kit in the back of some magazines for american bikes that have locks. I was looking for the same thing. Haven't bought 'em yet, but they sound good.
