Road King plug wire install

Unless they get damaged - wire's shoud pretty much last as long as the bike. Today's materials aren't as prone to dryrot & the core's are better quality. No need to change, unless bike's having plug wire problems...
 
You can do the "poor man's scope check." Start the engine up in complete darkness. Look for arcing or for wires that glow in the dark when you throttle the engine. If you see that, then you're way long overdue for new wires. Oh, it doesn't hurt to measure the wire resistance with an ohm meter too.
