road king 08 discount?

Curious what people think would be a fair discount on a 08 Road King Classic sitting in a dealers showroom?

Local dealer here is offering $2500 off on ultras. I would say at least $1500 off on a RK (mid $16K)

I think they will go a couple of grand as having 08's in their inventory affects them getting 09's. ( so I am told)

No such thing! Fair to you or fair to the dealer? It all depends on local supply and demand. Everything is negotiable. I doubt if they're "dumping" the 2008's yet.

I bought my '08 RKC in February for $2K less than MSRP, so I really think it depends on local supply/demand.
