Some have encountered a fork lock that does not release when they try to unlock the forks. If you give it a generous shot of WD40 followed by a shot of compressed air to make the WD penetrate deeper, it will usually free things up so the locks work properly. It seems that water or dampness effects the locking pin in the mechanism and it gets lazy after a while and doesn't release when the key is turned to unlock.
