I bought a kevlar mesh jacket and pants from Cycleport (Kevlar Motorcycle Apparel - the Best in the World) about a month after I bought my Heritage Classic last year.
It's not fashionable, but I am convinced this gear greatly improves my odds of walking way if I go down. I loved to ride ride with the wind blowing through my hair in my younger days. Now I've got a couple little people expecting daddy to come home every time he takes his bike for a ride. This gear gives me confidence that I won't let them down.
