replaced tach

I replaced all the gauges on my 07 flhtcu and installed a painted inner fairing, everything looks and works great with one exception, the cruise light does not work when the cruise switch is turned on. The gauges are HD spun aluminum sold thru HD. I can plug in the original tach and the cruise light works like it should. Any ideas as to what could be wrong ?

Either a bent pin or a pin not making connection in the plug or the wrong speedo number would be my suspicion.

Were the instruments from the same vintage (year) bikes?

I will check the pins, speedo number should be correct, both are new and are the correct p/n for the application.
