Rear pulley swap

Quick question. I have a 2004 fatboy EFI. I have the 70 tooth rear pulley and final drive is 3.15 which means im around 3400 rpms at about 80 mph. Has anyone swapped out the 70 tooth for the 65 tooth? Any pros and cons? Do you lose any low end power by doing so? Any impute would help. Not looking to spend 3000 for a baker 6 speed at the moment. Just looking for a quick and cheap way to do it.

With any swap what you gain in one area you lose in the other.

I just went from a 70T rear to a 66T rear. Problem is I changed cams also so I don't know exactly how it reacted. I went from a SE203 to a Andrews 37G along with Fullsacs true dual set up. I feel that it is stronger & believe that I did a good combo. But the cam is strong from 3K-5K & except for cruising in town that is where I run. I would have liked to do it in stages so I would have known what each did for me.
