Radio sound cuts out

I have a stock harley radio and it spontaneously just cancels out the sound until I shutoff and turn radio back on. I've checked connections and amp but can't find any reason for the problem. Anyone else ever experienced this?

Ask your local dealer about a reflash update for radio... :s

Thanks I'll give it a try! It's just so random and seems like it does it a lot when I slow down. Tryed turning of AVS and it still cuts out.
