Question for Mr Glider

One other thing, byproduct of more wattage is heat as well as light, but the 80/100W bulb is using 20% more of both, the headlight glass lens assembly sheds heat by air movement, so in practice the heat dissipation is managed quite well. Also remember that normally high beam (100W) is only when moving, with frontal illuminated area clear hopefully very far up the road to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

i run my high-beam during the day....with the higher wattage of the 80-100 over stock will this be ill advised?
any thoughts?

Running high beam is unnecessary with these beauties...but if you must, keep in mind that stop and go traffic on a hot day may run up the heat quite a bit and if enclosed in a glass and fairing shell... so I would just choose not to push a potential problem....your ride, you decide.
