Primary Drain Plug

As the stock drain plug is straight and if you're not careful it could be screwed into the primary, is there a replacement with a shoulder and O-ring as used in newer Softails? Thanks

If you have the NPT (tapered) plug in there now,you could retap the hole to take the newer plug with the "O" ring.

if your ride is a 2000
the prug is not straight and con not be scewed into the primary the plug you have now is a 1/8 pipe plug(tappered thread) just put allitle pipe dope on it before you re-install it you will be fine(unless you over tighten and crack your outer primary cover)

Have to be careful with inserting the tapered plug too far. The hole will get a tiny bit bigger if you insert it deeper than it should be and eventually contact the clutch shell inside the primary.
