One Month To Fix A Bike?

I posted awhile ago that my bike needed a new compensator and inner primary bearing replaced. I dropped it off at my indy one month ago. Still not done! They tell me they are waiting on a part from the local HD dealer to come in. Service girl tells me they told her that covid is slowing everything down. That sound believable? Anyone else having trouble getting parts?

We own / operate a auto service centre, and deal with lack of available parts all day long.
A very large national part supplier that we are a auto care member with is probably the worst when it comes to parts on hand.
So I can relate to the statement the indy has given you.
But easy to fact check. Call the dealer to see about the availability of the part needed.
