oil ?

Have 09 Heritage, 2" rush slip-ons, TFI tuner and Arness big sucker air cleaner. Question is I have ran mobil 1 in engine and when I did my 10,000 mile service I had Harley 20 50 oil on the shelf and did not want to waste it. It seems the valves have alot less noise to them. Is it ok to switch back to regular oil after using a synthic? After all the fluids chainges and clutch adjusment the bike sounds and runs great.

I don't know why you would switch back but yes, its ok to switch back. Valve train noise is a small part of the bigger picture. IMO.

No problem switching back as Bodeen posted but you loose the benefits of the synthetic as far as temp protection. They will mix just fine.

A mechanic once told me " a noisy valve is a happy valve".
I would stick with the synthetic and have a little more noise.

Make your own blend. Add 1qt of the HD360 oil to the Mobile1 oil. You will lose some high temp protection, but if ticking goes away, your happy!
You will not hurt the engine doing this, period.
