I live in michigan and my 1997 Road King sat all winter. I started it up let it warm up checked all my fluids and took it for a ride about 3 miles in to the ride the bike started puffing white smoke out the tailpipes when I got it back home it was puking oil out the air filter so I took the air cleaner off the oil was coming out of the crank case vent tubes now the bike was not over on oil and its running good other than the smoke from all the oil. Not sure what to do now

Some times the check ball in the oil pump will not seat causing oil to flood the crank case after long periods of sitting, if it doesnt cure itself you may have to reseat the valve and possible relap and replace the ball

Jack has ya cover on this on the old evos .. if it keeps doing it ya have the option of trying to reseat the ball or replace pump .
