Both are good products - it's a matter of opinion & preference. Remember...dirty air comes from above & below so changing w/s is only one piece of clearing the air. I run a 8.5" Klock Werks, vented lowers, fork baffle & lowered seat (1.5" MCC mod) and there's little-no buffeting affect while riding (on calmer NE days). At 5'11" w/34" inseam - this works for me...every rider's different so you'll need to dial-in your preference(s). At least I can say the KW shield was pretty much my 1st mod on this bike & I do like the quality, design & function over HD's stock "shorty" shield. Good luck.
