I got a security system for my deuce, installed it last night, and of course the bike wouldn't start. I new that with the EFI the bike would have to be married with the TSSM, we had to do that with my husband's bike, we did that at our service guy in WV. My bike has a carburetor, so I didn't think I would have that problem. If I read correctly on one of the help pages here, the '04 and later models do have to go through that, but it does not have to be done at the dealer?

The next question, should I unhook the battery and then hook it back up and start from scratch, or can I just go out, try to start the bike and let it set? How will I know if it is complete, and all that jazz? :28:

    Thanks

You should still have to marry the TSSM to the bike once you installed the system. They have to communicate or it's a no go.
