New Bike

Congrats & good choice w/FLHX...it's "tomorrow" so how about a update, or are you too busy riding...:D

:rider

change the tranny syn 3 oil out immediately . use spectro, royal purple,
red line "shockproof" gear oil . i get it from jaggs.
the reason i say this is because some guys on this site on '11 models
have had bearing problems. and everyone agrees that syn 3 is a
inferior oil to use in the tranny.

I picked it up today and the bike is fantastic, A lot more rigid in the corners. I put just under 100 miles on it today and will be out most of the day tomorrow.

Congats on the new steed. It sounds as if you are going to really enjoy Glidin...:s

So far the only problem I am having with the new bike is the throttle seems to stick a bit, I will have them check it out when I bring it in for the first service, other then that I am loving the street glide.

congrads. now as you may have seen on this site, you need to get a heavier gear oil in your tranny. syn 3 is way too thin. some have had bearing failure
from running syn 3. red line shock proof synthetic gear oil, or spectro etc.
roll-on and throttle-up.
