The 2011 has the HDLAN electrical system. It is the first year to do so.
I don't know if there have been any problems with it or not.

I do know that it does limit aftermarket fuel management abilities. For instance the Mastertune TTS ECM re-programer is not compatable. The Screaming Eagle Pro Super Tuner is though.

How long do you plan to keep the bike. If only a year or two then get the '11 as the '10 is already now a two year old bike. If you are planning on keeping a long time and maybe doing some mods down the road, go for the '10.

I hope that they are making you a sweet deal because the '12s have the 103" motors in them and I would look long and hard at them first before I made any decision.

Just my $0.02, That and about $5.00 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Hi all, thank you for helping me out with bike purchase. I plan on stage one and adding vance & hines exhaust bss. I forgot to metion that both bikes have chrome wheels.
