i just bought a new 07 883 coustom, could i just put new pipes on it and ride or what has to be done? its fuel injected and i heard that i have to put some kind of power control module or somethin to that nature on it.

I have a fuel injected Dyan and was at the dealer talking about new pipes also. They said that they would need to download some software to the bike to control the fuel flow. Something like $450.00
for the download on top of the cost of the pipes and install. That included a dyno-tune.
I don't think that it would be much different on your bike.
