Just traded my 2012 Heritage for a 2013 Road King.I bought the Heritage,coming off a FXDC.I love the looks of the Heritage,and don't really like the plastic side covers on the King.So I didn't consider it.They were within 150 bucks of each other,so price wasn't the deal.If I had ridden both,I never would have gotten the Heritage.Looks great,but it handles like (EDIT) compared to a Road King.I would say the heritage is close to what Harleys were like in the 70's.Like riding a tractor.You will love the King,you can throw it thru curves like a schwinn sting ray! And not scrape your boards.Do it!
