Bill was vetoed by Gov. Nixon. Head of MODOT spent 30,000.00 of taxpayer money yo campaign against it. I suppose we try again next year?

I'm in favor of a protest ride to the courthouse in Jeff City on Aug 28th! Long time ago in Connecticut (mid 70's) There was over 100 no helmet citations given out in which 80% or more pled not guilty and asked for a jury trial. It was horribly expensive for the state, and in the end the helmet law in Connecticut was abolished.

I just read in the Biking Life that the governor vetoed the bill.
