Man, I'm looking forward to my next trip. I'm suffering from bike trip withdrawl. Just seems like I should be hoping on the bike and riding all day to somewhere. Blasted honey-do list isn't getting any shorter.

Anyway.. more pics.

Have I ever mentioned my wife is very scared of crossing looong bridges that are high up over vast amounts of water. I'd given her a choice to either go over or around this bridge. She somewhat reluctantly voted to go over it. I'm real proud of her for that:small3d028:.

Astoria Bridge over the Columbia River between Oregon and Washington where it empties into the Pacific. Measured it at 7.1 kms, 4.4 miles long.

Wildlife Safari in Winston Oregon. It's a drive through park. They had to put the bears and cats behind enclosures because people are stupid animals. One person had gotten out of their car to take pictures of the lions so they put them behind fences.

No, we didn't drive the bike through the park. We'd called ahead and they rented us a van w/driver to tour the park.
