Does any one know what you need to put in a aftermarket radio . I was looking at Sony's cdx-930ui so i can hook up a ipod wire from back of stereo to inside saddlebag . Not sure if it would work with hand controls. i did find a biketronics adapter and installation kit for my 08 SG , but it's as expensive as the stereo $171( any other ideas let me know)

A buddy of mine mounted his Ipod on the bar and plugs it into the radio's aux port with a 12" cable from radio shack. I know that's not exactly what you're looking for but at about $10.00 for the cable, it's a whole lot cheaper. Here's a link to a Sony adapter that's a little cheaper than you mentioned but, not much.
