Kuryakyn Panacea Tail Lights

I just installed the Kuryakyn Panacea tail lights on my 2009 Electra Glide and really like the flashing brake light. Can anyone tell me if this is legal in CA or will I be hassled??

Also, does the load equalizer have to be installed? Everything seems to be working fine without it!

I have the full set up, tail light,and signals front and rear, when the equalizer burns out the lights flash real fast. Its all I know but hope it helps.

I lived in CA and had flashing break lights and had no problem with the law but everyone wanted me to ride in the rear because they were distracting.
